The Ministry of Housing has revealed its partnership with the private sector represented by real estate development companies that will result in the construction of about 27 thousand residential apartments of different sizes and in all regions of the Kingdom, provided that the area of the apartment is not less than 180 m2 with all the required services.
The Riyadh apartment project is expected to start soon, once the land distribution is completed and the beneficiaries start building in the villa neighborhoods, with 630 apartments, followed by about 3100 in the Medina project, the Qatif Al-Badrani housing project to build 160 apartments, 7465 for Dammam housing projects, in addition to the Jeddah Airport housing project, which accommodates 4242 apartments, and 10663 for the Prince Fawaz housing project in the south. <span style="font-size: 180m2", "font-size: 180m2", and "font-size: 10663".
The ministry's official spokesman, Engineer Mohammed Al-Zamaiya, said in press statements: After the completion of Riyadh, the ministry will hand over the beneficiaries in Al-Kharj governorate by 2543 lands and loans of 500 thousand riyals, in addition to about 245 housing units with an area of 500 m2 in Al-Khobar governorate in Sharqiya. He pointed out that the ministry is continuing to fulfill its promises and is working at an accelerated pace to keep pace with the growing demand for housing and the ministry's housing products.
The ministry welcomes the partnership with the private sector and supports it through marketing, but without any compulsion for the citizen to live in it, stressing the ministry's readiness to pay the value of the loan to the developer if the citizen chooses the housing unit.
