<His Excellency the Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Haqeel, met at his office today with the United Nations Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of the United Nations Human Settlements Program (UN-Habitat), Maimuna Mohammed Sharif and her accompanying delegation to discuss opportunities for joint cooperation between the two sides and ways to benefit from the programs and services provided by the Ministry within the municipal and housing sectors, in the presence of His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing, Engineer Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Badir, HRH Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr, Undersecretary for Customer Experience and Customer Service and General Supervisor of the Department of Housing and Housing.
<At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, welcomed the Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ms. Maimuna Mohammed Sharif, and her accompanying delegation, pointing out the importance of the meeting in promoting joint cooperation and sharing successful Saudi experiences in the housing sector under the Housing Program - one of the programs of Saudi Vision 2030 -.
During the meeting, the meeting reviewed areas of fruitful cooperation with UN-HABITAT by taking advantage of the Future Cities Program, the Development Housing Program and supporting the National Urban Strategy. The meeting also discussed the efforts of the UN-HABITAT to support the National Urban Strategy.
