The General Real Estate Authority has referred the first real estate violation to the competent authorities for enforcement, due to several violations, including the forgery of a self-employment document.

In a press release issued today, the Authority clarified that the number of non-compliant real estate advertisements seized since the implementation of the real estate advertising regulations issued on 12/10/1442 AH has reached (5,560) non-compliant real estate advertisements, as part of the Authority’s ongoing efforts to regulate and supervise real estate activities and monitor compliance with real estate advertising regulations. The Authority reaffirmed its ongoing monitoring of entities operating in the real estate sector to safeguard the rights of market participants, ensure fair and transparent competition among real estate brokerage firms, and protect the rights of beneficiaries and service providers, to ensure compliance with real estate advertising regulations, monitor all violations and infractions by non-compliant entities, and impose statutory penalties on them in accordance with the regulations. These regulations are part of the General Real Estate Authority’s role in regulating and supervising the non-governmental real estate sector, thereby reinforcing the Authority’s coordination with government agencies to enhance the attractiveness and vitality of the real estate sector and increase its reliability and innovation.
