Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing Majid Al-Hogail announced today the adoption of Smart Cities Strategy for the municipal and residential sector. Al-Hogail said the strategy includes the launch of more than 50 initiatives in 9 areas by 2030.

6 objectives that take into account the priorities of the regions
The strategy was built with the participation of all municipalities in the municipal sector, as it was developed for each municipality, including a roadmap that extends to 2030, and 6 goals that take into account the priorities and challenges of each region.
