The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz approved extending the reception of applications and amending the rules and controls for considering citizens' requests to own real estate. The Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for State Property, Mohammed Al-Jadaan, stressed that this approval reflects the leadership's interest in everything that serves citizens, noting the initiative of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz regarding ownership applications in which the property area does not exceed 2,500 square meters for residential and 5,000 square meters for agricultural, where the requirement for aerial photography for holdings before 1387 AH was canceled to enable committees to consider applications in accordance with the conditions and controls.<For his part, the Governor of the Authority, Ihsan Bafqih, explained that the amended regulations included extending the period of receiving applications for a year from 5/5/1443 AH, continuing to accept the formal modification of real estate instruments, and adopting the nearest clear aerial or satellite photograph of 9/11/1387 AH, approved by the General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information (GASI) Provided that the consideration is limited to the actual living area according to the aerial photographs, and the submission of documents and documents proving the existence of the revival before the specified date, in addition to correcting the deeds located within the boundaries of the Two Holy Mosques issued before the issuance of the Royal Order on 09/01/1428 AH.He pointed out that all requests for ownership must prove the existence of the revival before 9/11/1387 AH, indicating that the review committees will not consider any request for ownership of a property that has already been decided by a final ruling, or within sites where ownership may not be acquired according to orders, regulations and decisions, or conflicts with the organization or planning, or any of the other development projects.
