Riyadh witnesses the fourth edition of the largest international exhibition for iron, metal, glass and aluminum

“Metal & Steel + Glass & Aluminum Saudi Arabia 2015” will be launched from April 6-9, 2015 at the Riyadh International Exhibition Center, with the participation of industry leaders and giants from more than 350 Arab and foreign companies from 26 countries around the world to present the latest innovations, technologies and products in these industries.

The exhibition is held under the auspices of the Saudi Industrial Cities and Technology Zones Authority as the industry partner, the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, the Council of Saudi Chambers, the Saudi Exports Program representing the Saudi Fund for Development, the Saudi Geological Survey, and the Saudi Arabian Geological Survey. The exhibition is held under the auspices of the Saudi Industrial Cities and Technology Zones Authority as the industry partner, the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, the Council of Saudi Chambers, the Saudi Exports Program representing the Saudi Fund for Development, the Saudi Geological Survey, and the Saudi Institution of Engineers.

<“This year's exhibition is a testament to the strength and importance of these industries in the Kingdom at the regional and global level,” said Mr. Osama Al-Kurdi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Relations for International Exhibitions and Conferences. The Iron and Metal Industries Exhibition was launched for the first time in 2012 in the Kingdom, and has grown and developed by 70% in the current year, which represents a significant development in the size of participation and exhibition space. The show is an ideal platform for suppliers and buyers alike to network, make deals and learn about the latest developments in the industry, thanks to mega projects that are currently worth $627 billion."

Many of the exhibitors will be participating in the show. <The exhibition is attended by many countries that review their experiences in these industries, which is considered one of the world's vital commodities, with the aim of transferring their experiences to the Kingdom and all Gulf countries. In addition to its endeavor to spread scientific awareness and what is related to it in the commercial and industrial sector, the exhibition represents a meeting point between manufacturers and decision makers in the region and explore opportunities for cooperation between all parties and investment deals.

Engineer Osama added. <Osama Al-Kurdi added that the exhibition will feature a large variety of exhibits that cover almost all areas of the steel and metal industries, including iron and steel from rebar, sheet metal, sections, pipes and tubes and the necessary ancillary industries such as rolling mills, furnaces, refractories, castings, cast iron and steel molds, steel structures, metal tensioners and the formation of steel and stainless steel. Steel, stainless steel, machinery for iron and metal fabrication, including cranes of all kinds, handling, clamping and preparation tools including cutting, shearing, presses and assembly including welding and drilling, surface treatment technology including painting, galvanizing and sanding, technology and tools for quality control and inspection, control and automation programs and services and others.

It also includes destinations of all kinds - architectural glass - flat glass - colored and stained glass - green glass - thermal glass - aluminum profiles and panels - U-PVC profiles - zipper doors - iron and wood doors - security and furfuge doors - automatic doors - garage doors - accessories, machines and supplies for manufacturing, forming and fixing - glass industry furnaces - rubber - paints and treatment.

Engineer Osama Hassan said that the exhibition is being sponsored by the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC). <Osama Al-Kurdi also pointed out that the most prominent feature of the exhibition is that the exhibiting companies have set their sights on the size of the expected competition among them, as they participated in the exhibition with the intention of offering the best of what they have at the most appropriate price possible due to the great competition between various industrial and commercial companies around the world within the exhibition. The main goal for which efforts are being made is to achieve the greatest possible benefit from this important event for the largest possible number of producers, technology suppliers and investors for this sector.
