Press reports revealed that real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department on Monday amounted to more than AED 1.8 billion, as the department witnessed the registration of 481 sales worth AED 1.58 billion, including 40 land sales worth AED 549.42 million and 441 sales of apartments and villas worth AED 1.03 billion.
According to the report, the most important land sales worth AED 300 million came in the Palm Jumeirah area, followed by a sale worth AED 25 million in Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Gardens. Business Bay topped the regions in terms of the number of sales of apartments and villas with 94 sales worth AED 158 million, followed by Dubai Marina with 63 sales worth AED 245 million and Al Barsha South IV with 46 sales worth AED 31 million.
Mortgages recorded a value of AED 178.19 million, including 14 land mortgages worth AED 72.7 million and 54 mortgages for villas and apartments worth AED 105.49 million, the most important of which was in Jebel Ali Industrial Area I worth AED 25 million and another in Satwa area worth AED 22 million.
As for gifts, 19 gifts worth 39.42 million dirhams were recorded, the most important of which were in the Al Barsha South V area worth 16 million dirhams and another in the Dubai Marina area worth 16 million dirhams.
