His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of the General Authority for Tourism and Antiquities, called on tourism service providers and tourist accommodation facilities—including hotels and furnished residential units—to cooperate with the Regional Tourism Development Council and the General Authority forTourism and Antiquities Authority to support tourism in the city of Riyadh by working to provide quality service at reasonable prices. His Highness also urged tour operators to play an active role in organizing tours within the capital.
The meeting of the Tourism Development Council, held yesterday and chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Riyadh Region, and attended by the Authority’s President, discussed the comprehensive development program for tourism and cultural heritage launched by the General Authority for Tourism and Antiquities to keep pace with the rapidin its operations and to accelerate efforts to align with the Kingdom’s recent policies and decisions aimed at supporting the tourism and national heritage sectors. The Council also reviewed a presentation on the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Program for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage.
