The General Authority for Real Estate (G.A.R.E.) has granted the corrective period. The Authority granted the corrective period based on its role in stimulating real estate brokerage activity and enabling real estate practitioners to continue their business in accordance with the Real Estate Brokerage System, which requires brokerage practitioners and real estate service providers to obtain the necessary licenses to practice the activities specified in the system.
<The Real Estate Brokerage Law, which came into effect at the beginning of this year, includes seven main activities subject to its provisions, namely: (real estate brokerage, real estate marketing, property management, facilities management, real estate auctions, real estate advertising, and real estate consulting and analysis), and individuals are limited to only four of them, namely: Brokerage, marketing, advertising, real estate consulting and analysis. Individuals wishing to practice these activities are required to obtain the special license to practice the activity and its requirements, pass the qualification program for each activity, pay the license fee except for the license to practice real estate marketing and advertising, and register on the Authority's e-services platform.
<In a related context, the Authority has organized introductory pavilions to the real estate brokerage system in a number of commercial markets in Riyadh, Jeddah and Al Khobar, and is sponsoring the second edition of <a href="https://amlak.net.Maskan Real Estate Exhibition, which will be held in Riyadh on May 25-27, 2023, with the participation of a number of government agencies, banks, financing and real estate development companies, and will participate in the exhibition by introducing the services it provides to beneficiaries and workers in the real estate sector, such as the real estate brokerage system, VAL license, and real estate registry, which will start field work in Riyadh on Shawwal 17 next year.
During its participation, it will review the platforms and programs it oversees, such as the Saudi Real Estate Institute, the Malak program, the real estate unit sorting program, the Ejar program, the Saudi Center for Real Estate Arbitration, and other services.
