King Salman Neighborhood is located in the heart of the capital Riyadh with an area of 6.6 kilometers, adjacent to King Salman Park, and its development is a tributary to the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which aims to make Riyadh one of the top 10 cities in the world.
The project works to achieve a number of objectives, including raising the quality of basic services and recreational and leisure activities, promoting comprehensive sustainability in the neighborhood to raise quality of life rates, and creating an interactive urban environment that enhances social relations among residents.
The naming came in recognition of what the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God protect him - provided during his tenure as Emirate of Riyadh, which spanned more than five decades.
