The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing has issued the updated version of the <a style="color: #800000;" href="https://www.momrah.gov.sa/sites/default/files/2023-06/jdwl-aljzaat-n-almkhalfat-albldyt.The schedule of municipal violations, which comes as an extension of the continuous efforts to improve the quality of services provided, and in application of the principles of transparency and clarity, where the establishments were classified according to the secretariats and municipalities, and the determination of fines took into account the progression according to the type of violation, the extent of repetition, the difference between the levels of cities in terms of economic terms, and the sizes of establishments according to the classification approved by the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, in addition to applying the principle of warning before imposing a penalty and setting a corrective period for non-serious violations.
Municipal Violations Table Groups
<In a press release today, the ministry explained that the new amendment included nine groups of violations, namely: (violations of commercial activities, violations of public hygiene and commercial waste haulers, violations of roads and streets, building violations, fuel station violations, violations of municipal fees linked to a percentage of sales, violations of advertising and advertising signs, sales violations, and violations of health facilities).
The decision included granting shops and establishments included in the table a period of up to 120 days to correct their status starting from 11/19/1444 AH, while a period of 90 days was granted for the correction of road and street violations and general building violations from the date of approval, provided that the current table will continue to operate until the end of the reconciliation period for each group.
