<The field committee to follow up projects in Qassim has identified 369 stalled and semi-stalled projects in the region, and these projects will be among the committee's top priorities in order to contribute to accelerating their implementation. <For his part, Prince Faisal bin Meshal bin Saud, Governor of Qassim, said that the committee has set criteria for regular, delayed, stalled and stalled projects, as the percentage of delay in regular projects has been set at 25 percent, delayed projects at 50 percent, stalled projects exceeding 50 percent, and stalled projects exceeding 100 percent He pointed out that the number of government projects in the region is 1278 projects costing more than 30 billion riyals, while the number of regular projects amounted to 689 projects by 62 percent, delayed projects 217 projects by 17 percent, and stalled projects by 17 percent, while semi-stalled projects amounted to 166 projects by five percent.
<His Highness referred to the tasks and duties of the committee in monitoring and following up the delayed and stalled projects in the region, identifying the causes of the delay, proposing appropriate solutions and developing a timetable for their implementation, with the help of government agencies and contracting companies working to implement the projects.” He stressed that the committee is now working on a list of priority projects in the region, in addition to identifying ideal government departments that have no delayed or stalled projects. <He urged the committee members to exert more effort and give more and submit detailed periodic reports on projects that need direct intervention and support to address their stumbling and work to remove the obstacles they face.
