“SABIC earns SAR 10.1 billion in the first six months of 2015

SABIC announced the distribution of cash dividends to shareholders from the company's capital by 25% (equivalent to 2.5 riyals per share) as profits for the first half of 2015.

The company's profits amounted to SAR 10.11 billion at the end of the first half of 2015, down by 22% compared to the same period in 2014. The company's profits amounted to 10.11 billion riyals by the end of the first half of 2015, down 22% compared to profits of 12.90 billion riyals achieved during the same period in 2014.

The company attributed the decrease in profits to a decrease of 22% (equivalent to 2.5 riyals per share).

The company attributed the reason for the decrease in profits during the current period to the decrease in average selling prices of products, adding that the reason for the decrease in profits during the current quarter is due to the decrease in average selling prices of products, noting that there is a decrease in the cost of sales, while it attributed the increase in profits during the current quarter compared to the previous quarter to the increase in average selling prices of products and the increase in quantities produced and sold.
