Rahab is a community-based project. Under the agreement, Arab National Bank will implement the units under the umbrella of sustainable community development initiatives, as more than 500 beneficiaries will benefit from the project after its completion.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs emphasized the importance of the project. The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing for the Third Sector and Community Participation, Talal bin Mohammed Al-Khanyini, stressed that the “Rahab” project comes within the range of projects adopted by the “Developmental Housing” program to provide suitable and appropriate housing for the neediest families, praising the constructive efforts of the Arab National Bank and the “Shelter” Association in the project.
The official spokesperson of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing said that the Arab National Bank is responsible for the implementation of the project. For his part, the official spokesperson of ”Ma'awa” Youssef Al-Fardous explained that the project comes within Ma'awa's strategy of integration with partner organizations, similarity in achieving common goals and seeking to activate them to the fullest extent.
The Managing Director and CEO of Arab National Bank, Obaid bin Abdullah Al-Rasheed, expressed his pride in the partnership with the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing and “Shelter” Association, which aims to raise the quality of life of the beneficiaries of this project, achieve family stability for them, and contribute to increasing homeownership within the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, noting the efforts of Arab National Bank in community development work.
