Improving the urban appearance
<The Municipality explained that during the month of January, it and its municipalities addressed the elements of visual distortion and improved the urban appearance in the region and its governorates, by removing 310,065 m3 of construction and demolition waste, removing 1265 concrete barriers, and repairing 103.676 square meters of street potholes and cracks, maintenance of 2246 lighting poles and lanterns, maintenance and repair of 2924 square meters of interlock for sidewalks, streets and squares, repainting 48,362 linear meters of sidewalk curbs, maintenance of 2924 linear meters of worn-out sidewalks, and painting 1007 linear meters of underground lines.She added.
<She added that 1929 square meters of graffiti were treated, 1394 waste containers were treated, 3669 public spaces were cleaned, 99 illegal umbrellas were removed, 1306 linear meters of sidewalks and pedestrian walkways were planted, 4 street transformers were treated and repaired, and 4 4 random bumps, 24 unauthorized parking, 14 damaged cars, 100 billboards, 81 signboards, 671 planting beds, 41 public toilets, and 192 street vendors.
The Municipality emphasized that it continues to address and repair elements of visual distortion and improve the urban appearance, in accordance with the plans and initiatives of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, in fulfillment of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, to raise the quality of life in the region.
