The Saudi Contractors Association SCA launched the 4th International Contracting Conference, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Haqeel, at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center, which will run from February 26-27, 2024, in conjunction with the Big5 Saudi exhibition, which targets more than 55,000 visitors to the exhibition.

International Contracting Conference

In its fourth edition, the International Contracting Conference is a comprehensive platform and an opportunity to communicate with industry leaders and decision makers, and a unique event in the contracting sector in the Kingdom, aiming to review the latest technologies and equipment used in urban construction, the contribution of smart cities to improve the quality of life, highlight the concept of sustainability and its impact on the environment, and discuss the latest construction technology practices with more than 25 local and international speakers representing more than 40 countries, who review the latest information, experiences and technologies.

The alliance platform aims to facilitate access to qualified and experienced contractors and save resources and time in selecting the right contractor for the project. The platform also offers different types of alliances, including joint ventures, framework consortiums and unincorporated consortiums.

The launch of this platform is part of the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing's efforts to develop a consortium between the two entities for the best completion of projects.
