His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Emir of Tabuk region, sponsored the annual meeting of charitable societies operating in the region “Day of Benevolence”, and handed over 292 housing units within Developmental Housing.

After that, the Chairman of the Council of NGOs in Tabuk, Mamdouh Al-Enezi, delivered a speech in which he explained that the third sector in the region is witnessing growth and development by holding many distinguished partnerships, programs and initiatives to support NGOs, noting the great and distinguished role of the Emirate of Tabuk represented by the Nonprofit Sector Development Unit and the continuous support and follow-up of His Highness the Emir of the region to the work of the Council of NGOs in Tabuk. His Highness and the attendees watched a visual presentation on the achievements of the “Renewal” initiative for the first year, followed by a presentation by the King Khalid Foundation, which included the results of the first phase of the study to develop the non-profit sector in Tabuk.
<HH the Amir then honored the winning associations of the Tabuk Giving Award in its second session 1445 AH in its four branches, namely: Rawa Association for Girls in the award branch for qualitative initiatives, Charity Association for Family Development in the award branch for institutional excellence, King Khalid Women's Charity Association in the award branch for financial sustainability, and Sakan Association for Family Development in the award branch for empowerment.

<His Highness also praised the role of the King Khalid Charitable Foundation and those in charge of it from the sons, daughters and grandchildren of King Khalid, may God have mercy on him, stressing that the King Khalid Award presented annually is a proof of the foundation's interest in charitable works.
