Presidents of National Housing and National Water discuss ways to enhance cooperation

The meeting addressed the localization of water distribution, wastewater treatment, waste reduction and power generation technologies in National Housing projects.

The CEO of National Housing Company NHC, Mohammed bin Saleh Al Batti, received at the Interactive Center in Khuzam suburb of Riyadh today, the CEO of the National Water Company, Dr. Fuad bin Ahmed Al Sheikh Mubarak, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation that serves both parties.

The visit comes within the framework of efforts to reach innovative solutions, keep abreast of modern technologies and localize them, and open research horizons in the field of water distribution methods, development of wastewater treatment systems, waste reduction, and energy generation in National Housing's urban projects in various regions of the Kingdom.

<NHC pays great attention to achieving environmental sustainability in its projects by adopting building materials and techniques that contribute to preserving the environment and protecting nature, such as energy saving, waste management and adopting techniques to utilize existing resources such as the treatment plant in Khazam suburb, which recycles the consumed water and utilizes it to irrigate the green spaces that occupy a large part of the suburb.

National Housing Company (NHC) pays great attention to achieving environmental sustainability in its projects by adopting building materials and techniques that contribute to preserving the environment and protecting nature. <It is noteworthy that NHC is the pioneer and enabler of the real estate development sector and the largest major developer of suburbs and urban communities in the Kingdom characterized by quality of life, pumping more than 300 thousand housing units by the end of 2025 in 9 suburbs and 6 residential communities on an area exceeding 100 million m2 and accommodating more than a million and a half citizens. It seeks to find solutions to secure supply chains with high quality and more sustainable construction materials, as part of the company's keenness to increase the real estate supply with housing options according to international standards, in order to achieve the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, by raising the percentage of residential ownership for Saudi families to 70%.
