The Turkish-Arab Forum, held in Istanbul on September 1–2, warned Gulf and Arab investors interested in Turkish real estate against dealing with certain fraudulent companies that do not adhere to international real estate standards, The forum emphasized that there are certain issues Arab investors must be aware of, such as fraudulent projects, scammers, and disreputable companies, stressing the need to pay attention to the restrictions still imposed on Arab investors, as well as the difficulty of the Turkish language in contractual agreements, given that Arabic is supposed to be included in the contracts.

The forum called on all investors to ensure that the company or institution through which the property is purchased is accredited by official authorities and registered with the Turkish municipality, and to contact the relevant authorities to register the investment to secure ownership rights.

For his part, Dr. Muhammad al-Adil, President of the Turkish-Arab Association for Economic and Strategic Cooperation, called for greater cooperation between the two sides in all economic areas to help promote secure investment for both parties.
