Qassim Municipality represented by Abanat Municipality carried out 1238 control rounds during the third quarter of 2024, targeting commercial establishments, buildings and visual distortion, to ensure compliance with the approved requirements and regulations.
The control tours included 1139 tours on commercial establishments, which resulted in the issuance and renewal of 101 health certificates, in addition to the confiscation of more than 32 kilograms of foodstuffs unfit for human consumption, and the municipality carried out 75 control tours to monitor and address the elements of visual distortion and improve the urban scene in the governorate. With regard to buildings, the municipality conducted 24 control rounds to monitor structural violations and reduce negative phenomena affecting the urban environment, in addition to environmental sanitation tours and daily cleaning work to preserve the public environment.
These efforts come within the framework of enhancing the vital role of the municipal sector, and the Municipality called on everyone to cooperate and report violations through the “Baladi” application or by calling the reporting center at 940.
