100K beneficiaries of housing support next year
<The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing announced that it will serve more than 100,000 beneficiaries of housing support programs over the next year. This comes through a variety of housing products, in addition to providing 80,000 housing units and developed lands, in partnership with real estate developers across the Kingdom. <In a move aimed at facilitating procedures and streamlining services, the ministry announced that it will issue 85% commercial licenses through the Baladi app in just 24 hours. It also plans to increase the number of qualified contractors to 24,000, which will enhance the efficiency of project implementation and increase the competitiveness of the real estate sector.
65 billion riyals to support municipalities and housing
<The Ministry of Finance has allocated SAR 65 billion to the municipal services sector as part of the 2025 budget. This amount covers the development of city infrastructure, urban planning, and the provision of innovative solutions for housing and urban development. The sector includes 305 entities responsible for implementing these ambitious projects across the Kingdom.Tangible achievements in 2024
These new projects are backed by a strong track record of achievements by the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing in 2024. 80,000 Saudi families benefited from housing support programs, and more than 741,000 mortgages were signed until the end of the third quarter of the year. In addition, 15,000 housing units were delivered within the off-plan sales product, and another 31,000 units were pumped in partnership with real estate developers, which contributed to raising the rate of home ownership by Saudi families.
Promising investment projects: Zaan Waterfront
<In the context of promoting investments, the ministry announced the signing of more than 3.6 thousand investment contracts through the "Invest in Saudi Arabia" portal. Among the featured projects is the launch of the Zan waterfront project in Jazan, which extends over an area of 300,000 square meters at a cost of more than one billion riyals.
