Shura Council calls on the Real Estate Fund to expand the mortgage profit reduction program

The Shura Council held yesterday its twelfth regular session of the first year of the ninth session under the chairmanship of His Excellency Dr. Mishaal bin Fahm Al-Salami, Vice President of the Council.
The Council first reviewed the agenda of its twelfth regular session and the items included in it, taking the necessary decisions on them, and passed a resolution calling on the Real Estate Development Fund to expand the program of reducing mortgage profits, and the Council took its decision after listening to the view of the Committee on Hajj, Housing and Services, read by Council member and Chairman of the Committee Dr. Atiyah Al-Attawi, on the observations and opinions of members expressed in a previous session towards what the annual report of the Real Estate Development Fund included in the annual report In its resolution, the Council called on the Fund to provide appropriate solutions, to develop the self-construction product to achieve its objectives, calling - in coordination with the Central Bank and the relevant authorities - to study the rescheduling of mortgage loans after the borrower retires according to his retirement salary, an additional recommendation made by Council member Mr. Ahmed Al-Wardi and adopted by the committee.
