Steps to terminate consensual leases

Ejar platform launches an e-service that allows easy termination of the contract between landlord and tenant while protecting rights

Posted in

As part of its ongoing efforts to develop and improve the real estate transaction environment in the Kingdom, Ejar has announced the launch of a new service that allows the cancellation of documented contracts by mutual consent between the lessor and the tenant. This step aims to simplify the procedures for terminating contracts in a transparent and secure manner, while ensuring the rights of all parties involved and preventing any future disputes.

Steps to cancel the contract by mutual consent

The service provides both parties (landlord and tenant) with the possibility of applying to terminate the contract through the "Ejar" platform, according to the following procedures:

Application: The party wishing to cancel the contract will upload the request through the platform.
Review by the other party: The other party is given the right to review the details of the request and make the appropriate decision whether to approve or reject it.
Final Cancellation: If both parties agree, the cancellation process is completed seamlessly, ensuring compliance and protection of rights.

Greater flexibility and transparency in dealing

This service gives the parties involved the flexibility to reach a mutual agreement on contract termination, while ensuring a clear and transparent mechanism for review and approval. This fosters trust between landlords and tenants and avoids the complexities of traditional contract termination.

Enhancing the real estate transaction experience

This initiative comes within a range of advanced services provided by Ejar platform, as the platform seeks to improve the experience of real estate transactions and provide a safe and reliable electronic environment that contributes to protecting the rights of the parties and enhancing the efficiency of the rental market in the Kingdom.
