The Impact of the Entertainment and Tourism Sectors on the Real Estate Market

The future of Tourism and Recreation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is promising, especially with major projects currently under development, such as the “Riyadh Art” and ”Riyadh Plaza” projects, which aim to boost tourism and attract more visitors, which will have a positive impact on the real estate market. The increase in demand for accommodations and tourism services is expected to drive up the need for real estate projects, whether residential or commercial.

Furthermore, improvements to public facilities and infrastructure—including the development of transportation networks, airports, and roads—will make Saudi cities more attractive to investors and residents alike. As a result, the real estate market in Riyadh is expected to experience significant growth, driven by increased tourism and leisure activity.

Impact on Other Cities

The positive impact is not limited to Riyadh alone but will extend to other cities in the Kingdom, such as Jeddah, the Eastern Province, Al-Qassim, and Tabuk. As tourism and leisure in Riyadh are strengthened, these cities are likely to see an increase in domestic tourism.

For example, Jeddah, the “Bride of the Red Sea,” a major gateway for coastal tourism in the Kingdom, is likely to benefit from the increase in tourism in Riyadh by attracting visitors eager to explore the city’s picturesque beaches and diverse cultural and historical landmarks.

The Eastern Province, meanwhile, is rich in attractive tourism projects, such as beaches, resorts, and islands, which reinforce its status as a destination in its own right. Meanwhile, the Al-Qassim and Tabuk regions are expected to see an increase in domestic tourism thanks to improvements in transportation and public facilities, as well as major projects underway in the region, such as the NEOM project, which will attract visitors to Tabuk and the surrounding area.
