Cement, concrete, gypsum and sand prices rise in December

Cement and concrete prices in Saudi Arabia during December 2024 witnessed varying increases compared to November of the same year, according to the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) Goods and Services Price Averages Bulletin.

Cement Prices

White Cement:
rose by 0.5% to reach 37.59 riyals per 50 kg bag.
National black cement:
Stabilized at 15.51 riyals per bag, recording a year-on-year increase of 4.6%.

Concrete Prices

Resistant concrete (350K):
rose by 1.9% to reach 219.33 riyals/cubic meter.
Resistant concrete (250K):
Recorded an increase of 2.1% to reach 199.68 riyals/cubic meter.
Ordinary concrete (350K):
Increased by 1.8% to record 210.02 riyals/cubic meter.
Ordinary concrete (250K):
Increased by 1.9% to reach 191.2 riyals/cubic meter.

Other building materials prices

National Gypsum Prices:

Up 0.7% to 16.3 riyals.
White sand:
saw an increase of 2.8% to 74 riyals.
Blended sand (sand and gravel):
Increased by 1.8% to reach 51.35 riyals.
Red sand:
Increased by 0.7% to reach 33.23 riyals/cubic meter.
Black Block:
15 cm: Increased by 0.8% to record 1682.71 riyals.
20 cm: Increased by 0.6% to reach 1724.53 riyals.
