Ministry of Justice : The value of real estate transactions for the year 1436 AH is about 366.7 billion riyals, a decrease of 16%

<The value of real estate transactions that took place during 1436 AH reached about 366.7 billion riyals, recording a decrease of 16% compared to 1435, the first decrease since 1430 AH, and all months last year witnessed a decrease in the value of real estate transactions compared to the previous year, except for the months of Safar and Rajab, which rose by 6% and 17%, respectively. The month of Jumada II was the lowest month with 49%, followed by the low month of Ramadan with 33%.

<A report issued by the Ministry of Justice stated that real estate transactions during 1436 were distributed between residential worth 243.4 billion riyals, and commercial worth 123.4 billion riyals, and land deals received the largest share of 314.3 billion riyals, amounting to about 86% of the total value, followed by agricultural land deals worth 14 billion riyals. As for the most active cities in terms of the value of real estate transactions during 1436, Riyadh was the highest with deals worth 111.8 billion riyals, followed by Jeddah with about 82.2 billion riyals.
