His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Chairman of the Council of Ministers, presided over a session of the Council of Ministers, held today in Jeddah. At the beginning of the session, H.H. the Crown Prince, on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, welcomed those coming to the Kingdom from various countries of the world to perform this year's pilgrimage, praising and thanking the Almighty for honoring this blessed country by serving its ancient house and the mosque of its Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) and caring for their visitors and ensuring their comfort and safety.
H.H. the Crown Prince said that he was pleased to welcome the pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. <His Highness directed the concerned authorities to work with the highest levels of efficiency and excellence in implementing security, preventive and organizational plans to serve the pilgrims in Makkah, Medina, the holy sites and the Kingdom's ports of entry, including continuing to facilitate the arrival of pilgrims from their countries through the "Mecca Road" initiative. During the session, the Cabinet approved granting the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing the authority to sell housing units - in the ministry's projects - to non-beneficiaries of housing support, according to controls set by the ministry in conjunction with the relevant authorities.
