Prince Khalid Al Saud, a member of the Education Committee, warned that the Real Estate Fund should not deviate from its developmental mission towards investment goals that undermine its mission, describing the Fund as a commendable witness and a major partner in the urban development witnessed by the Kingdom, and suggested a member to transfer the amounts allocated to the Ministry of Housing to the Real Estate Fund given its successful experience in financing citizens and the lack of success of the Ministry of Housing in directing these amounts in favor of addressing the housing crisis.

Dr. Sultan Al-Sultan stressed the role of adequate housing in enhancing the spirit of citizenship and belonging among citizens, pointing out the importance of the Fund to present a new vision that is compatible with the recently issued regulations or those that are about to be issued, demanding that land fees be applied as soon as possible and fighting monopoly and away from it.
