The Authority stressed that real estate brokers should not provide real estate services, such as advertising or concluding rental contracts. The Authority stressed that providing services on irregular units is an offense that requires taking legal action against him in accordance with Real Estate Brokerage Law and Regulation, where the law stipulates that the real estate broker shall exert the necessary care to verify the correctness of the information obtained when concluding the brokerage contract with the owner of the property or the owner of the benefit, including obtaining a copy of the proof of ownership of the property or ownership of the benefit, information and documents specified by the executive regulations of the system.
The Authority called on all real estate brokers to exercise their professional role responsibly and carefully, and to request official documents related to the real estate unit, including the building license, before providing any real estate service to ensure a balance between preserving rights, market sustainability, and enhancing the quality of life, which contributes to protecting real estate dealers, ensuring the safety of real estate transactions, and protecting the urban and social fabric of residential neighborhoods.
