Baladi of NHC Innovation has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with Asir Municipality to cooperate in vital areas that contribute to raising the quality of life, developing digital municipal services, supporting training and innovation, enhancing the beneficiaries" experience and keeping pace with the objectives of digital transformation in the municipal sector.

The memorandum was signed by H.E. Eng. The memorandum was signed by His Excellency Abdullah bin Mahdi Al Jali, Secretary of Aseer Region, and Baladi CEO Yasser bin Nasser Al Obaidan, in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Haqeel, Minister of Municipalities and Housing.

The CEO of Baladi explained that this partnership comes in support of the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, by enabling digital transformation in the municipal and housing sectors, enhancing operational efficiency, providing innovative services that meet the aspirations of citizens and residents, and contributing to building sustainable smart cities based on data and modern technologies.

The memorandum also included studying the implementation of a "digital twin“ project within the Municipality to support urban planning decisions by analyzing data and understanding the needs of the market and beneficiaries, which contributes to raising the efficiency of decision-making and enhancing urban sustainability, in addition to developing and operating ”fast track“ services and providing innovative technical solutions based on high operational standards, inspired by the best local and international practices in the municipal services sector.

The memorandum also included a study of the implementation of the ”digital twin“ project within the Municipality, to support urban planning decisions through data analysis and understanding the needs of the market and beneficiaries.
