August 17. Real estate registry work begins in 23 neighborhoods in Qassim and Makkah

It includes 23,385 pieces of real estate in Qassim and Jeddah through the Land Registry platform and issuing a property number and registration deed for each unit.

<The Public Authority for Real Estate has announced the start of the Real Estate Registration for (14,623 real estate plots in (21) neighborhoods in Qassim region, including (13) neighborhoods in Buraidah governorate, (4) neighborhoods in Qasr bin Aqeel center governorate, (3) neighborhoods in Riyadh Al-Khubra governorate, and one neighborhood in Unaiza governorate, starting from August 17, 2025, corresponding to 23 Safar 1447H, until the end of November 20, 2025, corresponding to 29 Jumada Al-Awwal 1447H, while real estate registration works will start for (8,762) real estate plots in (Al Shira'a Neighborhood, Al Amwaj Neighborhood), Jeddah Governorate in the Makkah region, starting from August 24, 2025, corresponding to Rabiul Awwal 1, 1447H, until the end of November 27, 2025, corresponding to Jumada II 6, 1447H, and until the end of November 27, 2025, corresponding to Jumada II 6, 1447H.

<The Authority explained that the neighborhoods benefiting from Real Estate Registry at this stage in Qassim region includes the following neighborhoods in Buraydah Governorate: (Al-Mansi neighborhood, part of the southern Diras neighborhood, part of Al-Aqiq neighborhood, part of Al-Jadidat neighborhood, part of Al-Liwan neighborhood, part of Granada neighborhood, part of Al-Malidah neighborhood, part of Al-Badour neighborhood, part of Khabb Rawdan neighborhood, parts of Al-Basr neighborhood, parts of Al-Ghamas neighborhood, parts of Al-Daisa neighborhood, parts of Al-Saada neighborhood), and the registration includes the following neighborhoods in Riyadh Al-Khubarah Governorate: (Al-Muhandiseen, Al-Masif, Al-Sinaiya), and the following neighborhoods in Qasr bin Aqeel Center Governorate: (part of Al-Bustan neighborhood, part of Granada neighborhood, part of Al-Rayyan neighborhood, and part of Al-Narjis neighborhood), and registration in Unaiza Governorate will be in : (Al-Durra neighborhood), indicating that the selection of neighborhoods was made according to specific criteria, and the rest of the regions, governorates and neighborhoods that will be subject to real estate registration in the various regions of the Kingdom will be announced accordingly in the coming periods.

The Real Estate Authority pointed out that the first registration of properties in these areas and neighborhoods will be available through the electronic real estate registry platform https://rer.sa, or through service centers, noting that in-kind registration requires the existence of a title deed that meets the statutory requirements to complete the registration process.

The Real Estate Authority called on property owners in the regions and neighborhoods that will be subject to in-kind registration in the coming periods. The Authority called on property owners in areas and neighborhoods subject to in-kind registration to verify the title deed of the property and the availability of the necessary requirements in preparation for the start of registration, and can inquire about the registration steps through the official platforms of the Authority or by calling the Customer Service Center 199002.

Starting from today, the registration process will be carried out through the electronic real estate registry platform 2, or through the service centers. Starting from the date set for the start of registration, a “property number” and a title deed will be issued for each real estate unit that is registered, and the title deed will include property data, descriptions, status, rights and obligations associated with accurate geospatial information to contribute to the enhancement of infrastructure and sustainability of the real estate sector, as the real estate registration system aims to increase real estate reliability and enhance transparency in the real estate sector.
