Real estate registry for 65,217 real estate parcels in Makkah region begins

In-kind registration works in 19 neighborhoods in Jeddah from August 24 to November 27, 2025, and registration is available online or at service centers.

The General Authority for Real Estate announced the start of the real estate registration of 65,217 pieces of real estate in 19 neighborhoods in Jeddah Governorate in the Makkah region, starting from August 24 until the end of November 27, 2025, corresponding to 6 Jumada Al Akhir 1447H for a period of 3 months.

<The Authority explained that the neighborhoods benefiting from the Real Estate Registry at this stage includes the following neighborhoods in Jeddah: (Al-Rabea neighborhood, Al-Gharbia neighborhood, Al-Abeer neighborhood, Al-Buhairat neighborhood, Al-Jazeera neighborhood, Al-Zuhur neighborhood, Al-Zuhur neighborhood, Al-Zomor neighborhood, Al-Ghadeer neighborhood, Al-Ghadeer neighborhood, Al-Khaleej neighborhood, Al-Durrah neighborhood, Al-Shuwaidi neighborhood, Al-Baghdadiya Al-Gharbia neighborhood, Al-Amariya neighborhood, Al-Sahifa neighborhood, and part of the Jeddah Islamic Port, Al-Balad 002001117, Al-Balad 002001026, Al-Balad 002001182 and Al-Balad 002001027), explaining that the selection of neighborhoods and plans was made according to specific criteria, adding that the remaining regions and governorates will be successively announced in the coming periods.

She pointed out that the first registration of properties in these areas and neighborhoods will be available through the electronic real estate registry platform https://rer.sa/ or through service centers, noting that in-kind registration requires the existence of a title deed that meets the statutory requirements to complete the registration process.

The Authority called on property owners in areas and neighborhoods subject to in-kind registration to verify the title deed of the property and the availability of the necessary requirements in preparation for the start of registration, adding that failure to register properties within the period specified in the announcement decision exposes their owners to the financial penalties specified in the Real Estate Registration System, which is determined by a specialized committee to consider violations, and inquiries about registration steps can be made through the official platforms of the Authority or by calling the Customer Service Center 199002.

Starting from the date set for the start of registration, a "property number" and a title deed will be issued for each real estate unit that is registered, and the title deed will include property data, descriptions, status, rights and obligations associated with accurate geospatial information to contribute to the enhancement of infrastructure and sustainability of the real estate sector; the real estate registration system aims to increase real estate reliability and enhance transparency in the real estate sector.
