Medina Chamber organizes a workshop on the collective housing system for individuals

The workshop discussed the requirements and mechanism for licensing collective housing and enhancing safety and quality to support Vision 2030 and the stability of the labor market.

The Medina Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, the Federation of Saudi Chambers, and the National Program for the Development of Collective Housing for Individuals, organized a workshop entitled “Collective housing system for individuals and the mechanism of licensing workers housing and incentivizing establishments”.

The workshop aimed to raise awareness of the relevant regulations and enhance the collective housing environment in accordance with safety and quality standards, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 to improve the quality of life and support the stability of the labor market. The workshop aimed to raise awareness of the relevant regulations and enhance the group housing environment in accordance with safety and quality standards, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to improve the quality of life and support the stability of the labor market.

The workshop was attended by the Secretary of the National Program for the Development of Collective Housing for Individuals, Engineer Hamoud Al-Enezi, Director General of Programs and Initiatives at the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, Engineer Walid Al-Zakri, and Supervisor of Collective Housing Licensing at the Ministry, Engineer Abdullah Al-Mansour.

The workshop included introducing the group housing system for individuals and its objectives, reviewing the manual of health and technical requirements and safety standards, explaining the licensing mechanism, and discussing the views and comments of the establishments.
