Al-Hogail sponsors the handover of 233 housing units within SNB's development housing program

Majid bin Abdullah Al Haqeel, Minister of Municipalities and Housing, sponsored the launch ceremony of the first installment of the third phase of the Development Housing Program, implemented by the Saudi National Bank (SNB) in partnership with Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, where 233 housing units were delivered to the neediest families and families of martyrs, coinciding with Arab Housing Day 2025.

<The ceremony was attended by Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majid Al Haqeel, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi National Bank Saeed bin Mohammed Al Ghamdi, CEO Tariq bin Abdulrahman Al Sadhan, along with a number of senior officials. During the ceremony, Minister Al-Hogail expressed his appreciation for the fruitful cooperation between the Ministry and the National Bank of Saudi Arabia, saying that this partnership represents a successful model for the integration of efforts between the public and private sectors to serve the community, and contributes to supporting the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 to raise the percentage of residential ownership to 70%, and enable Saudi families to own their first home, in fulfillment of the aspirations of the wise leadership.

Supporting developmental housing programs

The Minister expressed his thanks to the Bank's Chairman and employees for their continuous efforts in supporting developmental housing programs and promoting a culture of social responsibility.

For his part, the Chairman of the Bank's Board of Directors explained the importance of the Bank's social responsibility. Al-Ghamdi added that the bank will continue through its community programs to launch quality initiatives that embody its commitment to its national role and responsibility towards the community and in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in sustainable development, stressing its pride in the strategic partnership with the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, which represents a model of integration between various sectors to achieve the goal of providing decent housing for the people of the country.

The ceremony also witnessed the announcement of the project as part of its CSR programs. <The ceremony also witnessed the announcement of the launch of the “Social Entrepreneurship Accelerator” in the municipalities and housing sector, which aims to support and empower startups and enhance their role in creating innovative solutions in the field of housing. For the third consecutive year, the bank continues to implement a student volunteering initiative in partnership with municipalities and secretariats in various regions of the Kingdom, promoting a culture of volunteerism and social responsibility.

Saudi National Bank was the first bank to launch this charitable project in cooperation with the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing in 2017. This partnership has contributed to providing more than 1,147 housing units to needy families in various regions of the Kingdom, at a total cost of more than SAR 194 million, reflecting the bank's firm commitment to supporting development initiatives and improving the quality of life for citizens.

Saudi National Bank is the first bank to launch this charitable project in cooperation with the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing since 2017.
