Minister of Municipalities and Housing inaugurates projects to connect suburbs to the city

<The Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majid bin Abdullah Al-Haqeel inaugurated a number of vital and developmental projects in Taif Governorate. The new projects aim to create a state of urban mobility, enhance infrastructure, improve the quality of life, and vary between bridges and roads to facilitate traffic.

Multiple projects to improve the quality of life

Projects included: The bridge and tunnel of the intersection of King Khalid Road with Khalid bin Al-Walid Street, and the project to complete the middle ring, and these projects have an impact on facilitating traffic, connecting east and west of Taif, and raising the efficiency of transportation and services.

For his part, the Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail stressed that these projects aim to improve the quality of life for citizens, considering that what is achieved in Taif city of civilized development is part of the Kingdom's orientation to extend urbanization to all cities of the Kingdom, as these projects come within a development movement that includes the suburbs of Taif.
Al-Haqeel said that the new projects aim to make Taif an attractive destination throughout the year thanks to its mild weather and its strategic location close to Mecca, the holy sites and Taif Regional Airport, including Al-Sail Al-Saghir, which is witnessing an accelerated development in the tourism and service infrastructure.
