The Ministry of Housing plans to build 1040 housing units in King Abdullah Suburb in Hail. The land area of each unit is 500 square meters, while the area of the house is 260 meters in the area allocated for each unit, and the land area prepared for the project is 83 million m2. Work will begin on the first phase to include 9 million m2, comprising 18 residential neighborhoods. The ministry has handed over the project to a consultant office to develop designs and infrastructure maps. <In the same direction, the director general of the ministry's branch in Hail, Engineer Abdulmohsen al-Mutair, said that the land allocated for the project is located in an area equivalent to one third of the area of the existing city of Hail. Al-Mutair revealed that the project completed by the ministry will be distributed to citizens in the coming months. He pointed out that the project contains 720 developed land plots that will be distributed to citizens within the framework of the «land and loan» project, and contains all government facilities and various schools for beneficiaries, a health center, a civil defense center, a mosque, 9 mosques, public parks, a water tank and a lake to collect flood water, as well as investment and commercial areas.
