<The sub-committees to stop encroachments on government lands in the governorates and centers of Asir region were able to stop encroachments on more than one million meters of land that were encroached upon and seized during the past and current years. The 20 committees that were formed to return government lands from the encroachments of citizens and juveniles on them, such as building sheds or rooms and turning them into rest houses before fully controlling them, and the committees are making an appreciable effort to search for these lands in all governorates and centers, which resulted in the absence of legal documents on these lands and accordingly, the competent authorities were tasked with removing the encroachments and handing them over to relevant authorities and then to the Ministry of Housing.
