The Saudi Dutch Bank announced that it is making a financial donation as part of its contribution to the campaign and in support of Saudi Arabia’s national efforts to provide relief to Syrian children and their families, and to provide them with the means to overcome the hardships and dire humanitarian conditions they are facing. This is in response to the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the wise government to support the Saudi National Campaign to Aid Our Brothers in Syria and address the plight of Syrian refugees andtheir plight.
For his part, Engineer Mubarak bin Abdullah Al-Khafra, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Dutch Bank, commended the Kingdom’s efforts, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to support the brotherly Syrian people through the Saudi National Campaign, under the supervision of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the Interior, which aims to stand by the Syrian people and support them with humanitarian and relief aid to alleviate their suffering amid the difficult circumstances they are facing, particularly those displaced to neighboring countries, and to provide them with essential supplies and daily necessities.
Al-Khafra explained that the Saudi Dutch Bank’s contribution to this campaign is in line with its noble goals and humanitarian objectives, which are inspired by our authentic social values and the principles of our true religion, which call for solidarity among brothers and cooperation to provide relief and meet their needs, calling for a concerted effort to achieve a dignified life for our Syrian brothers. It is worth noting that this contribution by the Saudi Dutch Bank is the second in support of the campaign to aid the brotherly Syrian people, as the bank had previously made a financial donation at the launch of the campaign in July 2012.
Meanwhile, the bank stated in a press release on “Tadawul” that the board approved the appointment of Lubna bint Sulaiman Al-Olayan as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors.
