The Ministry of Housing is making the necessary preparations to implement the new system of organizing housing support from housing units, residential lands, housing loans or through a land and loan project on the 14th of Jumada Al-Thani, where the Ministry will receive, study and research applications, while the Fund will provide housing loans to applicants.
The system revealed that the percentage of deductions from the beneficiary's income does not exceed 25% of his monthly income, provided that the total financial installments for housing units and land are determined based on the location and area.
The system explained that if the beneficiary does not pay six consecutive or intermittent monthly installments or does not pay the annual installment within a period of six months from the due date of the installment, the ministry will take the legal measures to collect the overdue installments as a debt owed to the state.
The new system warns that the ownership of the installment does not transfer to another beneficiary until after the full payment of the financial installments, while the ownership of the residential land does not transfer to another beneficiary until after building the housing on it and paying the installments in full, while it is not permissible to dispose in return or without compensation in housing support until ten years have passed from the date the beneficiary receives it and pays the installments, provided that the benefit of housing support is limited to the benefit of private housing for him and his family, except for renting the housing according to the controls specified by the regulation.
