Public Authority for Housing revitalizes the contracting market by offering 8404 housing units and approves the construction of 576 new housing units in Makkah, Madinah and Al Baha

The Governor of the Public Housing Authority in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Shuwaish bin Saud Al-Duwaihi, signed contracts for the construction of 576 housing units in the Makkah region, Medina region and Al-Baha region, at the headquarters of the Public Housing Authority in Riyadh.

During the signing of the contracts, he stressed the keenness of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques on everything that would serve the citizen in various fields, explaining that the implementation and embodiment of the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for housing is the basis for the work of the Authority and the achievement of its goals.

<Dr. Al-Duwaihi stated that the three contracts that were signed are: The contract for Al-Kharmah housing project in Makkah, which includes 260 housing units and 3 mosques. The contract for the Al-Ula project in the Medina region, which includes 201 housing units and 3 mosques. The contract for the Nawan housing project in Al-Baha region, which includes 115 housing units, in addition to allocating land for other facilities such as education, health, and others. He noted the contracts signed by the Authority in the past, where contracts were signed for a number of housing projects distributed in all regions of the Kingdom, benefiting from the financial allocations approved for the Authority to build housing projects to address the shortage that the country suffers in this field, bringing the number of housing units signed so far to 8404 housing units.

The governor revealed that four housing projects have been signed by the Authority. <The governor revealed four projects in the study phase that will be implemented in the Riyadh region in: Al-Majmaa, Al-Kharj, Al-Dawadmi and Al-Ayyinah, stressing that the comprehensive strategy for housing in the Kingdom is concerned with programs implemented by the Authority or other partners.

<Regarding linking housing grants in cooperation with the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs, Dr. Al-Duwaihi said that discussions are ongoing with the ministry to develop a mechanism for it, pointing out that there is a receipt of sites in some regions of the Kingdom.
