His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Amir of Tabuk Region, handed over 448 housing units to families benefiting from the Developmental Housing Program of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing. On this occasion, a speech ceremony was held that started with verses from the Holy Quran, then the Secretary of Tabuk Region Engineer Hussam Al-Yousef delivered a speech in which he appreciated the support of His Highness the Emir of Tabuk Region for the region's development and housing programs and projects, stressing that this achievement embodies the integration between government agencies and the private and charitable sectors and a practical translation to provide adequate housing, support deserving groups and promote social stability.

His Highness added:" It is important for everyone to know that the rate of home ownership in the Kingdom is among the highest in the world, as it exceeded today the barrier of 65%, and here we are not talking about temporary housing, but about real ownership, which is what we are witnessing today and repeated in various regions of the Kingdom, pointing out that what is done today is a practical confirmation that housing is not just buildings, but a basis for family stability and development, which is why the leadership put this file among its priorities, praising in this regard the efforts of the Minister of Municipalities and Housing and his colleagues in the ministry and secretariats in all regions of the Kingdom.

His Highness stressed that housing is an achievement that cannot be hidden, it is a tangible reality that everyone sees, and the fair-minded realize that the Kingdom has achieved in limited years what many countries have not achieved, and at an unprecedented pace of achievement, expressing his happiness on this day when he sees and witnesses the sons and daughters of the region owning their own homes.
