The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has entered a new phase of industrial leadership, as confirmed by remarks made by Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khuraif during the closing ceremony of the Third Saudi Forum on the Fourth Industrial Revolution, organized by the Fourth Industrial Revolution Center,in partnership with the World Economic Forum and King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST).
Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources announced the modernization of more than 4,000 factories to transform them into smart factories that rely on artificial intelligence, automation, and 3D printing technologies, as the Kingdom has transitioned from keeping pace with global developments to leading the industries of the future, emphasizing that the Kingdom is working to build its industrial capabilities to be ready for future technologies.
Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khuraif stated that they aim to achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which has made technology, innovation, and sustainability key pillars of industrial growth.
