The official spokesperson for the General Real Estate Authority, Taysir Al-Mufarraj, confirmed that regulatory measures have been taken against a practitioner in real estate sector after he was found to be offering opinions and forecasts on real estate prices without holding the required license to practice real estate analysis.

Al-Mufarraj noted in a tweet on X that the Authority emphasizes the importance of all real estate practitioners complying with applicable laws and regulations, and to obtain official licenses before engaging in any activity in the real estate market, in order to protect the rights of market participants and ensure market transparency and credibility.

This is in line with the provisions of Real Estate Brokerage Law , under which the practice of real estate brokerage or services without a license constitutes a legal violation, in addition to the prohibition on providing incorrect or misleading information or concealing material facts related to the properties being transacted.

The Authority reaffirms its commitment to continuously monitoring the real estate market and taking all necessary measures to ensure that industry professionals comply with regulatory rules, thereby strengthening investor and consumer confidence in the sector.
