The Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA) will organize the first edition of the International Contracting Conference, dedicated to the contracting sector in the Kingdom, at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center on Sunday morning, where government agencies, regulatory bodies and key companies in the sector unite their efforts to develop the building and construction market in the Kingdom.

<Held under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, Minister of Commerce and Investment, and hosted by the Saudi Contractors Authority, the two-day event will feature more than 35 expert speakers. <The agenda will discuss topics such as updates on mega projects in Saudi Arabia and initiatives related to the Kingdom's Vision 2030, innovations in the contracting sector, human development and capacity building. The Secretary General of the Saudi Contractors Authority, Engineer Thabet bin Mubarak Al-Suwaid, explained that the role of the Authority is to regulate and develop the contracting sector in the Kingdom and enable it to build specialized capabilities and raise the standards produced by the sector, thus creating a safe and secure work environment.

Al-Suwaid added that the role of the Authority is to regulate and develop the contracting sector in the Kingdom. Al-Suwaid added that the aim of the conference is to find solutions to all challenges in the contracting sector, encourage creativity, enhance communication and education, and provide facilities and protection not only for the members of the Authority, but also for the construction sector as a whole.
