Riyadh Municipality removes more than 1700 elements of visual pollution from Namar neighborhood and Al Mousa scheme

Namar Municipality, with the participation of Riyadh Municipality teams, recently removed more than 1700 elements of visual pollution from Namar neighborhood and Al Mousa scheme as part of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs program to improve the urban landscape implemented by the Municipality to remove visual pollution from all neighborhoods of the capital, especially the peripheral neighborhoods and near its main entrances.

The elements of visual pollution that were removed from Namar neighborhood and Al Mousa scheme included 374 illegal livestock stalls placed in random ways and within residential lands, 300 prefabricated rooms that violate regulations and are a source of discomfort to the residents of the neighborhood, 117 random slaughterhouses, and 300 damaged and abandoned vehicles that threaten the comfort and safety of residents.

The Municipality's teams also worked to fill swamps with an area of 46,000 square meters and lifted debris from vacant lands with an area of 4,593 cubic meters.

The Municipality is working in coordination with a number of relevant authorities to improve the level of services provided to the residents of Namar neighborhood and Al Mousa scheme like other neighborhoods in the city, including the implementation of asphalt, lighting, paving, afforestation and sewage services.
