Does the National Exhibition Program Eliminate Clutter?

<The Council of Ministers, headed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, may Allah protect him, has proven that it is fully aware of the extent of the goals and aspirations that concern the citizen and serve his interest, as its decision approved at its meeting on Monday, Rajab 17, 1434 AH, corresponding to May 27, 2013. Corresponding to May 27, 2013, approving the transformation of the Permanent Committee for Exhibitions and Conferences into a national program named “National Program for Exhibitions and Conferences” headed by an active national figure, HRH Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of the General Authority for Tourism and Antiquities, is a very important decision and some may not realize the extent of the importance and the many benefits that the relevant and competent authorities will reap in this regard.
From my point of view, this decision carries several benefits in the interest of the exhibition and conference industry in the Kingdom, most notably the elimination of the chaos that we have been witnessing in many exhibitions, conferences and meetings, especially local exhibitions in which some regional and international organizations participate. This industry has an important economic return for the country. The Kingdom, thank God, hosts many local, regional and international exhibitions and conferences, but the mechanisms and principles of organization in many of them are devoid of professionalism and professionalism, and some exhibitions and conferences held within the Kingdom are more like a circle of chaos around which some revolve like a vicious circle, and it is strange that many of the authorities that organize the large number of these exhibitions, conferences and forums do not benefit from their mistakes.
The organization of exhibitions, conferences and forums in all countries of the world has become an industry led and organized by professional cadres according to implementation mechanisms that are carried out accurately away from the chaos that we witness in many exhibitions, conferences and forums that are held in a number of cities in the Kingdom.
We did not say all this in a vacuum, as we in Amlak newspaper are the most media entity involved in sponsoring and covering the events of exhibitions, conferences and forums inside and outside the Kingdom, and there is a big difference in organizing international exhibitions and organizing exhibitions internally, and there is no comparison at all. Through our wide experience, we know exactly what happens before, after and during these events. We hope that the ”National Program for Exhibitions and Conferences” approved by the Council of Ministers will put an end to the chaos witnessed by many exhibitions, conferences, forums and forums held inside the Kingdom, and we hope to benefit from the experiences of neighboring countries and the rest of the world in organizing professionally.
