The King Salman Bridge project, which connects the Kingdom to Egypt, will provide more than 50,000 job opportunities, both direct and indirect, for citizens of the two brotherly countries.
This was explained by the Secretary General of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the Gulf States, Abdulrahim Naqi, who attributed the large number of expected jobs to several reasons, including that there are direct jobs in the bridge, in addition to private sector jobs related to the bridge, whether directly or indirectly, explaining that the bridge project is one of the largest projects in the region related to the transportation sector and will have positive implications at all levels, whether in terms of Saudi-Egyptian or Gulf-Egyptian relations, indicating that the project will serve several commercial and economic sectors, including tourism sector, and enhance the exchange of goods and services between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
He expected that King Salman Bridge will have a clear impact on future plans related to economic aspects in particular, and there will be trends to create sustainable development around this project, in addition to the strategic plans in both countries, in order to benefit from the project in the future, as it will contribute significantly in facilitating the movement of transportation not only between the two brotherly countries, as a land link between Asia and Africa.
The project will serve more than one commercial and economic sector, including the tourism sector, and enhance the exchange between the two continents of Asia and Africa.
