Launched by the Riyadh Region Secretariat an initiative for periodic meetings with engineering and consulting firms; with the aim of strengthening communication, exchanging expertise, and discussing key topics in the field, in an effort to raise the quality of engineering outputs, improve the efficiency of procedures, and support urban development goals in the city of Riyadh.
The first meeting under this initiative featured an overview of the building supervision process, from the issuance of a building permit through to obtaining an occupancy certificate, highlighting the roles and responsibilities, and the importance of complying with technical and regulatory requirements to ensure the quality of construction and the safety of buildings. The meeting also highlighted best practices in the field of building supervision, while opening a dialogue with engineering and consulting firms to exchange views and proposals for developing work procedures and enhancing the efficiency of engineering supervision of buildings in the capital, Riyadh.
This initiative is part of the Riyadh Municipality’s efforts to build an effective partnership with engineering and consulting firms and to strengthen channels of ongoing communication with them, to achieve urban development goals and keep pace with the rapid urban growth currently taking place in the capital, Riyadh.
