The Riyadh Chamber Board of Directors elections will kick off before the end of May, and it is customary that the Riyadh Chamber elections take five days, two days dedicated to the elections of its external branches and three days at the headquarters. It is expected that the supervisory committee will meet with the candidates after the end of the specified period of objection and withdrawal, to discuss them about the elections and their conditions. The list included 75 male and female candidates, including 55 candidates for the category of traders and 20 candidates for the category of industrialists.
It is noteworthy that the number of candidates, which reached 75 candidates, is a new number and an indicator of the status of the Riyadh Chamber among businessmen and its vital role in economic life and social responsibility and their keenness to join the membership of its Board of Directors, and this large number may constitute a great burden on the organizing committees during the election period, and the number of female candidates from businesswomen is a new number and higher than previous sessions, which amounted to five women.
