Launch of the Specialized Association for Developmental Housing in the Najran Region

The Governor of Najran Remotely Inaugurates a Licensed Association to Support Beneficiaries of Developmental Housing and Expand Partnerships to Provide Housing Solutions for Families Most in Need.

His Highness Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musa'id, Governor of the Najran Region, praised the support and attention the the housing sector receives from the wise leadership—may God support them—as well as the progress made in enabling Saudi families to own homes. He emphasized the importance of expanding the impact of developmental housing programs, reaching beneficiaries, and meeting their needs.
This came during a meeting His Highness held in his office yesterday with the region’s secretary, Engineer Saleh bin Gharam Allah Al-Ghamdi, and the chairman of the board of directors of the Najran Specialized Association for Developmental Housing, Amer bin Salem Al-Yami, during which he remotely inaugurated- the association, which is licensed by the National Center for the Development of the Nonprofit Sector.

Serving Developmental Housing Beneficiaries
His Highness was briefed on the association’s objectives and programs in serving developmental housing in the region, as well as the solutions it provides, which include contributing to the provision of housing for eligible recipients, supporting those struggling to pay utility bills and rent, and renovating and furnishing homes, in partnership with government agencies, charitable organizations, and the private sector.
The Governor of Najran emphasized the importance of strengthening the role of the nonprofit sector and its integration with government agencies and the private sector, thereby contributing to the provision of housing and development solutions for the most needy families, achieving family and social stability, and improving quality of life. He noted the importance of building effective and sustainable partnerships and directing the association’s programs toward priority needs, thereby enhancing their developmental impact and serving beneficiary families in the region.
For his part, Al-Yami praised His Highness the Emir of the region for his support and interest in developmental housing initiatives and the nonprofit sector, affirming the association’s commitment to achieving its goals and expanding the scope of its services to beneficiaries.
